Can I pay a different rate on each platform?

Updated October 22, 2026 · 2 min read · For brands

Yes. By default your platforms share one budget at your campaign CPM. The Rates and budgets per platform panel, under Set your budget in Campaign setup, lets you price a platform on its own.

Price a platform

To give a platform its own rate:

  1. Click Set up on Rates and budgets per platform.
  2. Open the platform's row and fill in CPM for this platform and Locked Budget for this platform. The row shows the most you can lock.

Only that platform's posts earn from its locked budget. A platform with its own CPM must also have one. A platform with only a lock earns the shared rate from its lock. A platform CPM is at most $1,000 per 1,000 views.

What the other platforms earn

Platforms you have not priced share the rest of the budget, at your campaign CPM or at a rate adjusted so the campaign still buys the views your budget covers. That rate never goes under $1.50 per 1,000 views. Unspent locked budget returns to your wallet with the rest of the unused budget when the campaign ends.

If the setup is refused

This setup was not saved means Vyro refused the rates. Check these in order and fix the first that applies:

  1. Do your locks add up to more than your campaign budget? Lower a lock, or raise Campaign budget.
  2. Is there a lock on a platform you don't target? Add the platform, or clear the lock.
  3. Does a row have a CPM but no lock? Lock part of your budget to it, or clear its CPM.
  4. Do your locks use the whole budget while a platform has no CPM? Give every platform its own CPM, or lock less.
  5. Do your unpriced platforms get under $1.50 per 1,000 views? Lock less, or price every platform.

None applies? Contact the Vyro team with the rates you entered.
